Penn State Extension Welcomes Horticulture Educator, Jennie Mazzone
Jennie will provide support and educational programming in commercial horticulture, primarily covering the vegetable, small fruit, and green industries in the area. Jennie grew up in southcentral Pennsylvania and is proud to be home providing the agriculture community with the research-based information and services Penn State Extension is known for.Â
Jennie is no stranger to Penn State. She has held various roles at Penn State, including Forestry Instructor at Penn State Mont Alto, Master Gardener Coordinator in Franklin County, Research Technologist in Vegetable Pathology, and Diagnostician at the Plant Disease Clinic. She also worked as a Plant Disease and Insect Diagnostician at the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jennie has a master's degree in Plant Pathology and a bachelor's degree in Horticulture from Penn State.
