Pat is a 2007 graduate from the The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. His work experience includes fifteen years in the non-profit world in different roles, from an experiential therapist to counselor and most recent to arriving at the Extension, in Training and Development. Pat grew up around the Extension on his family farm where his grandfather worked closely with Penn State Extension to grow and sell sweet corn to neighbors and local grocery stores. Pat developed and ran a school garden program in State College, leaning on Penn State Master Gardeners to help him start the program, which inspired him to become a Master Gardener himself in 2021.
