About The In-Person Workshop
Join Penn State Extension livestock and agronomy educators for a hands-on pasture walk designed to help beef producers improve pasture productivity and grazing management. Learn how to evaluate pasture condition, identify forage species and common weeds, apply integrated weed management practices, strengthen rotational grazing strategies, and support herd health through proper nutrition and body condition scoring. Gain practical, research-based knowledge and management techniques that can help you make informed decisions to enhance forage quality, maximize grazing efficiency, and improve the long-term sustainability of your operation.
