Mid September is too late for the reseeding of pastures in most parts of Pennsylvania. In extreme southern parts of the state this would be the last week to try to seed pastures. Forage growth has been excellent this year because of all the moisture we have received. September is an ideal time to fertilize in order to promote more fall growth and aid in root regeneration.
