Setting a Welcoming Table: A Conversation on Diversity
The Nutrition Links Annual Conference builds skills for educators and health professionals who work with families to provide education about nutrition, food selection, and food behavior. This year, we will address the many facets of diversity, from educational level and ethnicity to life experience and disability.
Featured speaker is Fernando Chang-Muy, an immigration lawyer from the University of Pennsylvania. Breakout sessions look at fermented foods, communicating with ESL students, the Latinx connection, and food and culture in Latin America, India and other countries of the world.
