    About Me

    Melissa has an extensive background in production agriculture; growing up and working on her family’s dairy farm. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management from Penn State University. She also holds a Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Global Executive Leadership from Delaware Valley University.

    Melissa’s professional experiences lend well to her educational background. She has previously worked for Penn State Extension as the 4-H Livestock Educator in Adams County. Melissa has also worked for Pennsylvania’s premiere agribusiness association, PennAg Industries Association. While working for PennAg, Melissa interfaced with regional regulators and constituents to grow and enhance Pennsylvania agribusiness; providing her unique opportunities to work with legislators and respected agribusiness organization. Her current role at Penn State is as the Program Manager for the Center for Professional Personnel Development.
