Description
Mediterranean Cuisine Comes to You! was developed from research and a study tour in Greece by Penn State Extension educators and registered dietitians. From their research they have developed diet and lifestyle strategies that anyone can adopt. The program is easily applicable to those living in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
In this course, we will explore what the Mediterranean lifestyle is, as well as the scientific support for the proven health benefits. You’ll learn how to implement the culinary aspects of the Mediterranean way of eating—using local foods and seasonings. Each section addresses a specific food topic and includes tasty recipes for you to try.
