About the Live Webinar
What is the Master Watershed Steward (MWS) Program and what can we do for your community? This information session is all about the Spring 2025 MWS training program and how you can apply to become a Master Watershed Steward, one of Penn State Extension's fastest-growing and impact-making volunteer programs.
This session is geared toward applicants in Berks and Schuylkill Counties. However, we are certainly happy to help others connect to your local MWS program.
What do Master Watershed Stewards do?
- Educate both adults and children about water quality, wildlife habitats, and the environment
- Develop educational materials
- Organize and conduct educational events, clean-ups, and invasive plant removal projects
- Design and maintain demonstration gardens
- Conduct stream monitoring projects and research
- Research and write newsletters and online articles
- Collaborate with municipal officials on stormwater management projects like bioswales, rain gardens, native meadows, and green solutions

Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar.
A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within ten business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.

If I register for a webinar, but am unable to attend the live session, can I view a recording of the webinar at a later time?

A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within 10 business days after the live session occurred.
