About The In-Person Workshop
Internal parasites in livestock are increasingly resistant to commonly used deworming products, making targeted treatment more critical than ever. This workshop teaches participants how to identify animals that require treatment by sharing tips for collecting fecal samples and demonstrating fecal egg counting techniques. These methods provide science-based data to inform treatment decisions, improve animal health, and help slow parasite resistance.
Participants may bring a manure sample from their own animals for analysis. Refer to the instructions for proper collection and handling of fecal samples.
Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
