About Me

Lenelle Bear supervises 12 Nutrition Education Advisers providing research based nutrition education to low income audiences in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties. The educational programs help individuals, families, and youth with limited resources enhance their nutrition, increase their physical activity and develop life skills needed for self-sufficiency and better health. She is responsible for developing community partnerships, maintaining program integrity, and fiscal management of local program funds.

Prior to joining Extension Lenelle Bear was the Program Coordinator for the Cumberland and Perry County Tapestry of Health, managing the local WIC (Women, Infant and Children Nutrition program) program and other local grant projects.


BS in Family and Consumer Sciences from Messiah College MEd in Health Education from The Pennsylvania State University
