About The Live Webinar
Help children start the school year with confidence by exploring practical strategies that support a smooth transition to the classroom. This forum will highlight ways caregivers can establish healthy routines, organize learning spaces, and encourage open conversations that ease anxiety and build excitement for the year ahead. Designed for kinship caregivers—including grandparents, extended family members, and other trusted adults raising children—this session emphasizes how supporting both academic readiness and emotional well-being can help children feel secure, prepared, and ready to learn.
Kinship care refers to grandparents, other extended family members, or adults raising children with whom they have a close family-like relationship—such as godparents and close family friends—because the biological parents are unable to do so for any reason.
