During the Kinship Family Forum: Great Children's Literacy, Sharon K. Savage will discuss the importance of reading. Books (and YOU) are excellent teachers. They are an excellent resource on caregiving, socio-emotional support, resilience, and living situations. Children's books can help families explore difficult situations, provide different perspectives, and serve as conversation starters. We will discuss ideas and activities designed around books to help children.
