Joseph C. Conklin, Ed.D.

Joe Conklin is a Senior Extension Educator with the Penn State Extension Energy Team. Joe first found employment with Penn State Extension in 2013 in an administrative capacity as a District Director, then serving as a Business Operations Manager. Joe joined the Penn State Extension Energy Team in 2022 and works to fulfill Extension's educational mission in the ever-changing energy space. He works with agricultural producers, landowners, communities, government officials, and industry across the Commonwealth around energy education and applied research. Much of his work centers around the nexus of energy development, land use, and policy. Originally from Bradford, PA, a town rich in energy history, he understands the importance and opportunities that energy brings to the Commonwealth as an economic driver.
