John Boney joined the faculty at Penn State University as an Assistant Professor of Poultry Science where he maintains a 75% extension and research and 25% teaching appointment.  John was trained at West Virginia University where he studied applied poultry nutrition and feed manufacturing.  His extension and research programs focus on commercial feed quality improvements and both environmental stewardship and poultry performance enhancements through improved nutrient utilization.  These efforts are designed to bridge the gap between traditional poultry nutrition and feed manufacturing, to evolve efficient poultry feeding.
