About The In-Person Workshop
Join us for an in-person workshop, "Home Food Preservation: Introduction to Drying," that blends tradition with modern food safety practices. As interest in home food preservation grows, drying remains a time-tested way to enjoy seasonal foods year-round. In this two-hour session, participants will explore the science behind recommended drying techniques and learn how to safely preserve fruits, vegetables, herbs, and meats. The workshop will also address common myths and outdated practices, equipping attendees with the knowledge and confidence to preserve food safely and successfully.
