Introducing Kelly Piccioni, Schuylkill County's Newest Educator

Kelly Piccioni began a position with Penn State Extension in the Schuylkill County office on January 27, 2025. Kelly’s responsibilities will include providing extension resources and education to commercial producers of Christmas trees, cut flowers, and other horticultural crops in the region. A native of Berks County and a graduate of Delaware Valley University, Kelly is enthusiastic about serving Pennsylvania growers and looks forward to meeting them at local meetings this winter and on their farms during the growing season.

As an Extension educator, Kelly will provide scouting reports for Christmas tree growers and provide educational programs for producers of specialty crops such as cut flowers, vegetables, and small fruit. She looks forward to building relationships with growers throughout the area and working together to solve problems they encounter.
