Introducing a New Field and Forage Crops Educator in Bradford County

Casey Guindon, PSU

Penn State Extension welcomes Agronomy Educator Casey Guindon to the Field and Forage Crops Team. She comes to Extension with a passion for agriculture and a desire to help the producers in Bradford County. Casey hails from a family dairy farm in western Bradford County. She earned a B.S. with honors in Plant Sciences and a minor in Agronomy from Penn State. She was a member of a number of competitive teams, including the two-time national champion Forage Bowl Team. Casey completed her honors research with the USDA Agricultural Research Service in University Park focusing on manure injection in a perennial grass hay system.

Northeastern and northcentral Pennsylvania producers are invited to contact Casey with current production issues or any concerns that develop over the growing season. She is based out of the Bradford office. Casey can be reached at 570-265-2896 or .
