About the In-Person Workshop
Discover the art of creating long-lasting, natural-looking garden containers at the Lehigh/Northampton County Master Gardener workshop on hypertufa—a versatile, weather-resistant material made from a blend of peat moss, perlite, and Portland cement. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, hypertufa pots can withstand freezing and thawing thanks to their porous structure and are perfect for a variety of plants. During this hands-on session, you'll craft your own unique container and gain practical tips for using this technique in your garden. Please bring a dust mask, gloves, and a 12" x 12" board to safely transport your finished pot home.
