Description

When: January 24, 2019, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Are you aware of the status of animal welfare and humane issues regarding horses in Pennsylvania? Do you know who to contact and who can respond to suspected cases of animal abuse?

Pennsylvania has recently updated the animal cruelty laws. Horse owners and enthusiasts may be confused at times about the laws and statues related to livestock and horses. Regulations under programs such as "right to farm" and regulations that are designed for pet ownership don't always match normal horse care practices. This webinar will review current Pennsylvania humane statutes. It will also help horse owners objectively answer questions about the level of care required to maintain horses.

This webinar is designed primarily as a Q&A session, so please bring questions and concerns!
