About the In-Person Workshop
Join us for Home Food Preservation: Introduction to Drying, an in-person workshop that blends tradition with modern food safety. As interest in home food preservation continues to grow, drying remains a time-tested method for enjoying seasonal foods year-round. During this two-hour session, participants will explore the science behind today’s recommended drying techniques and learn how to safely preserve fruits, vegetables, herbs, and meats. The workshop will also address common myths and outdated practices, equipping attendees with the knowledge and confidence to preserve food safely and successfully.
