About the In-Person Workshop
Join Penn State Extension for the third installment of "Herds and Her: Empowering Women in Dairy," a hands-on, boot camp–style workshop designed for women in dairy. This interactive program delivers practical, farm-ready knowledge through sessions on farm accident preparedness, selective dry cow therapy, financial foundations, and understanding calf behavior in relation to housing and health. Guided by expert instruction and enriched through peer collaboration, participants will gain skills and confidence to apply directly to their dairy operations.
Funding for this event is provided by a grant from Northeast Extension Risk Management Education.
