Common Name: Imazapyr--53.1%;Ā Acid equivalent – 43.3% (4 lb/gal)

Formulation: Water-soluble liquid (amine salt)

Toxicity: Practically nontoxic; oral LD50: >5,000 mg/kg

Use Classification: General Use

Minimum Required Personal Protective Equipment: Long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes and socks,Ā chemical-resistant gloves

Carriers: Water

Activity: Absorbed through foliage, cut surfaces, and roots

Mode of Action: Accumulates in plant meristems (growth regions); inhibits the synthesis of an enzyme responsible for producing certain amino acids only found in plants

Selectivity: Conifers generally tolerant

Precautions: Do not apply to areas where roots of sensitive desirable plants may extend.

Application Methods: Foliar spray, cut stump, stem injection, frill girdle
