Description
Join Adrian Galbraith-Paul, Farm Manager for Heritage Farm at Methodist Services in Philadelphia, for an evening workshop about growing and eating Wine Cap (Stropharia) Mushrooms. During this interactive 2-hour workshop, you will learn a variety techniques for growing edible wine cap mushrooms while gaining an understanding of this extraordinary mushroom's roll in building the health of our soils and ourselves. In addition to new knowledge, program participants go home with materials for growing wine caps at home or at the farm/garden.
Farmers, gardeners, and individuals interested in growing and eating mushrooms as well as people interested in building soil health through natural methods.
