About The Hybrid Workshop

In this hybrid session, you will discover how predatory insects support biological pest control by feeding on damaging pests, reducing reliance on chemical pesticides, and helping maintain healthy ecosystems and biodiversity. By encouraging these beneficial species, farmers and gardeners can lower pest management costs while protecting the environment. Led by Angela Hartley, Master Gardener of Dauphin County, this session is part of the Gardening with Insects series, featuring locally relevant imagery of insects photographed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
