This free annual event, sponsored by Penn State Master Gardeners of Allegheny County, is a day of education and fun for all ages. County residents are invited to the demonstration gardens which showcase flowering plants that do well in our climate and soils. Each site includes herbs that home gardeners will find useful in their kitchens.

In addition to the demonstration flowers Master Gardeners will be discussing different garlic varieties, different basil varieties, deer resistant gardening, and answering gardening questions at our Garden Hotline table. As always there will be Penn State Creamery Ice Cream.

Offering a first glance at new and interesting plant varieties, North Park will again be participating as a satellite site for Penn State's Southeast Agriculture Research and Extension Center. This work involves planting, maintaining, and evaluating annuals that have yet to be released to the public for sale.

South Park will be hosting guest lecturers. Check back for speakers and times.
