About the Live Webinar
Pennsylvania's nearly 12 million acres of private forest land sustain people, plants, and diverse wildlife while providing essential ecosystem services, including clean air, filtered water, and critical habitat. These working forests also help make Pennsylvania the nation's leading hardwood-exporting state, supporting rural economies and global markets. Maintaining healthy, functional forests can be costly, complex, and at times overwhelming for landowners. In this webinar, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) shares how its programs and technical support help landowners strengthen forest health, establish riparian buffers and streamside protections, restore riparian areas, and address challenges across connected ecosystems. Designed for private forest landowners and conservation partners, this session offers practical insight into NRCS assistance, real-world applications, and pathways to improve long-term stewardship and resilience across Pennsylvania landscapes.
