Part One, "Growing Gourds," focuses on the fundamentals of producing healthy vines and a successful harvest of ornamental gourds in Pennsylvania's climate. Participants will learn how to select suitable varieties, start seeds, prepare garden sites, and provide proper care throughout the growing season. Additional topics include spacing, watering, fertilization, and pollination of gourd flowers.
