Food for Profit
Food for Profit online is based on the highly successful face-to-face workshop. This asynchronous, self-paced course will provide you with the business planning tools necessary for creating and running a successful business.
Each lesson, which includes videos and readings, focuses on a different business plan component: food regulations, food safety, marketing, packaging, pricing, risk management, and financing. Using the Penn State Food Business Curriculum, entrepreneurs will build businesses that follow regulations, respond to market needs, and are profitable and sustainable in a changing marketplace.
There is a final quiz in this course. If you choose to take this quiz and pass with a 70 percent or better, you will receive a certificate of completion.
