The Farmers Market Legal Toolkit from the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems is a resource for many types of legal issues every farmers market manager and vendor should consider. It includes "legal resources, best practice recommendations, and case studies for market leaders on selecting and enhancing business structures, accepting SNAP benefits, and managing common risks."

The toolkit was designed as a way to answer frequently asked questions from farmers market managers. This open-source legal guide can hopefully help farmers market managers make the best legal decisions for their markets.

The toolkit also "includes case studies highlighting real experiences from markets around the country that illustrate specific legal issues covered here."
