About the Live Webinar

Farm Sense is a three-session workshop designed to help farmers gain confidence in understanding and using key financial statements, including the cash flow statement, balance sheet, and income statement. This informative three-week webinar series will focus on the financial aspects of your farm business, equipping you with practical tools to strengthen decision-making and manage risk effectively. Attendance is required for those seeking USDA Farm Service Agency credit for financial and production management.

Course participants will learn how to organize and use financial records to make informed financial and production decisions. The concepts covered will support better internal management decisions and strengthen relationships with external partners, such as farm lenders.

Penn State Extension is an approved vendor of the U.S. Department of  Agriculture Farm Service Agency, and Farm Sense is an approved FSA  Financial and Production Management borrower training course in the  following states: Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia,  Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota,  Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma,  Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West  Virginia, and Wisconsin.
