About The In-Person Workshop
Join Penn State Extension and Elk County Farm Bureau for Farm Safety Day, a hands-on educational program focused on reducing risks and preventing incidents on the farm. Designed for rural families, this event features engaging presentations and demonstrations on essential safety practices, including chainsaw safety, tractor and ATV/UTV safety, barn fire prevention, groundwater protection, emergency preparedness, Stop the Bleed techniques, and more. Participants will gain practical knowledge to help keep farm operations safe and sustainable for everyone involved. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
