Are you a horse owner or barn manager that wants to do the best by your horses and the environment?

We will discuss pasture soil fertility, improving pastures for nutritional quality, reducing weeds, and more.

Participants will take part in many hands-on activities and will practice evaluating pastures and identifying forages and weeds.

You will also learn how to properly take soil samples, interpret soil test results and understand soil recommendations from a Penn State Soil Test Analysis.
