About The In-Person Workshop
Discover how native flowers, shrubs, and trees can transform landscapes of any size during "Environmental Field Studies: Landscaping with Natives." This field-based session will explore practical strategies for incorporating native plants into existing yards, gardens, patios, and container spaces to support pollinators, birds, and overall biodiversity. Participants will learn how even small-scale plantings can create meaningful ecological benefits while enhancing the beauty and resilience of home landscapes.
As part of the Environmental Field Studies series held in Beaver County, participants will engage in field-based learning that deepens understanding of ecological gardening and land management through accessible, experiential instruction from knowledgeable, down-to-earth educators.
Please note that the program involves walking on slightly uneven terrain; participants with mobility limitations may follow an alternate route or enjoy a stationary experience to ensure accessibility for all.
Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
