Horse Unit Manager
Ed graduated from Purdue University's Veterinary School in 1989 with an emphasis in equine medicine. He worked at the Thoroughbred racetracks in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for two years before joining an equine exclusive ambulatory practice in Centre County. After ten years in private practice, Ed became the horse farm manager at Penn State in 2001. He developed an artificial and shipped semen program for the barn and introduced targeted deworming to the herd. Over the past five years, Ed has worked closely with Penn State Extension to educate Pennsylvania horse owners on the importance of proper deworming habits.
