    About Me

    Diane serves as a water resources educator and the Coordinator for the York County’s Gypsy Moth Suppression Program. She holds a B.S. from Penn State University and an M.S. from SUNY Brockport.

    Diane conducts educational programs on private drinking water safety and pond management, interprets water analyses and counsels clients on solutions to drinking water and pond management problems. She has teaching, laboratory and field experience in water quality testing. She also provides education on aquatic invasive species and stormwater management. Her resarch with the water resources group include a study of water quality in Pennsylvania roadside springs and the occurrence of Harmful Algal Blooms in Pennsylvania ponds.

    Diane also works closely with the Penn State Master Watershed Steward Program, an educational program that provides extensive training in watershed management to volunteers who, in return, educate the community about watershed stewardship based on university research and recommendations.
