About The In-Person Workshop
Cow comfort is essential to maximizing herd health, productivity, and profitability on today's dairy farms. Join Penn State Extension for an on-farm program exploring management strategies, social practices, and equipment considerations that support healthier, more productive cows and calves. Participants will learn practical approaches to reducing stressors and injuries, improving reproductive efficiency, and enhancing milk production in both indoor and pasture-based systems. This program will also highlight key comfort goals every producer should consider to promote animal well-being and long-term farm success.
