Use the following instructions to clear the "psu.edu" browser cookie. This will alleviate problems you might be experiencing accessing an online course or registering for an event. Find the appropriate browser you're using and follow the instructions for clearing the cookie. 

Google Chrome

1. In the URL bar at the top of your browser, copy/paste then go to the following address:
   chrome://settings/content/all
2. In the upper right Search for “psu.edu”, you should get one result for "psu.edu"
3. Click on the result to reveal a drop down list of additional websites
4. Click on “extension.psu.edu”
5. Click on “Delete data”, then the “Delete” button
6. Lastly close out of your browser completely by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and scrolling to the bottom to select “Exit”

Mozilla Firefox

1. In the URL bar at the top of your browser, copy/paste then go to the following address:
   about:preferences#privacy
2. Scroll down to the section labeled Cookies and Site Data then click on the “Manage Data” button
3. Find and click on “psu.edu”
4. Click on the “Remove Selected” button, then the “Save Changes” button
5. Lastly close out of your browser completely by clicking on the three vertical lines in the upper right corner and scrolling to the bottom to select “Exit”

Microsoft Edge

1. In the URL bar at the top of your browser copy/paste then go to the following address:
   edge://settings/content/cookies/siteData
2. In the upper right Search for “psu.edu”, you should then get only one result for "psu.edu"
3. In the results section to the right of “psu.edu,” click the drop down arrow to reveal additional sites
4. Find “extension.psu.edu” and click on the Trash Can icon on the right hand side
5. Lastly close out of your browser completely by clicking on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and scrolling to the bottom to select “Close Microsoft Edge”

Safari (Mac OS)

1. At the top left of your window in the menu bar click on “Safari” then “Preferences”
   **In the newest version of Mac OS (13+) it says “Settings” not “Preferences”.
2. In the new pop up window, select the “Privacy” section (blue circle w/a white hand)
3. Click on the “Manage Website Data…” button
4. In the upper right Search for “psu.edu”, you should then get only one result for "psu.edu"
5. Select "psu.edu" then click on the “Remove” button at the bottom left
6. Lastly close out of your browser completely by pressing Option + Command + Esc and selecting "Safari"

Safari (iPhone/iPad)

To clear your cookies and keep your history, go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tap Remove All Website Data.

Lastly close out of your browser completely by swiping up from the bottom of your screen and then again on the browser app you want to close.
