About The In-Person Workshop
Each year in the United States, more than thirty-five thousand chainsaw-related accidents are reported, many occurring when proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is not used. This training will introduce the essential PPE required for chainsaw operation, including proper fit and when replacement is necessary. Participants will also learn about key chainsaw safety features, basic maintenance, safe handling practices, proper starting techniques, and how to assess potential hazards in the work area before operating a chainsaw. Designed for both new and experienced users, this session will help build the knowledge and confidence needed to operate a chainsaw more safely and effectively.
This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
