Conservation Planning Part 2 Training, Modules 6-8 is a prerequisite for achieving Level II and Level III NRCS Certified Conservation Planner designation. During this weeklong training, students will take a dive deep into the 9 Steps of Planning, gain a thorough understanding of the principles behind a well-developed conservation plan, and participate in a hands-on activity to develop alternatives for resource concerns on a sample farm. Prerequisites for attending Conservation Planning, Part 2 are completion of either Introduction to Conservation Planning (in-person) or Using Planning Criteria in Conservation Planning (NRCS-NEDC-000486) in AgLearn. All registrants, except TSPs, are expected to have previously completed Introduction to Conservation Planning.
