Risk management involves identifying and mitigating hazards on the farm. During this webinar, we will discuss common approaches to controlling hazards and provide examples of how each approach can be implemented on a farm. Participants will then work to develop a plan to control the specific mix of hazards present on their farms. During the optional second hour, participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the material and continue working on their plan. Plan for an interactive webinar and come prepared to participate in discussions and activities. This webinar builds on the content of a previous AgWorks webinar; the recording and materials will be shared with participants in advance of this webinar.

This webinar is open to everyone at no cost, thanks to an AgWorks grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. To help track grant reach and eligibility, participants will be asked questions about their farm or agribusiness during registration. Responses will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the project team.

As part of the AgWorks grant initiative, no-cost training and consultation services are available to qualifying small- to medium-sized farms and agribusinesses in Pennsylvania. For more information, visit AgWorks
