Center for Ag Conservation Welcomes Kayli Rentzel to the Team

Penn State Extension and the Center for Ag Conservation Assistance Training (CACAT) are excited to welcome a new educator to the team in fall of 2024.

Kayli Rentzel's new role at Penn State Extension is as an Ag and Civil Engineering Extension Educator for the Center for Agricultural Conservation Assistance Training. She will provide education, training, and technical assistance to conservation professionals and agricultural landowners implementing agricultural best practices.

Kayli is originally from and is currently based out of York County. She obtained bachelor's degrees from Penn State University Park in Mechanical Engineering and Spanish, with a Certificate in International Engineering. After graduation, she began her career in manufacturing, where she worked for four years. In 2023, interested in focusing more on sustainability, she completed Lancaster Clean Water Partner's Watershed Leadership Academy. This course solidified her passion for the environment and desire to make an impact with her career, inspiring her transition into conservation.

Outside of work, you can find Kayli lounging at the beach, riding jet skis, watching high school sports, and doing gymnastics. Whenever she can, she takes the opportunity to travel and learn about other cultures.
