About the In-Person Workshop
Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop that will elevate your understanding and application of biological control! Divided into two dynamic sessions, the program begins with Biocontrol Basics & Pesticide Impact, where you will explore the diverse range of biological control agents, the specific pests they target, and how pesticide choices can affect pollinators—along with strategies to reduce harm while maintaining effective pest management. In the Live Demonstration portion, you will gain practical experience by learning how to check the viability of biological control agents upon arrival and apply proper release techniques to maximize success. Whether you are a grower, educator, or simply curious about sustainable pest solutions, this workshop delivers valuable insights and actionable skills you can put to use immediately.
