Penn State Master Gardener Kevin Kelly will introduce outstanding native grasses for both sunny and shady gardens, demonstrating how these versatile plants can be incorporated into a variety of landscape designs beyond traditional meadows and prairies. Learn about exceptional species and cultivars suited for today’s home landscapes, along with best practices for planting, care, and maintenance. The program also explores the ecological benefits of leaving grasses standing through winter, supporting pollinators, birds, and other wildlife while enhancing seasonal garden interest.
