Are you curious about the benefits that a fitness class can bring?
This short presentation is designed to help you understand more about the benefits of joining PennState's Lifelong Improvement for Fitness Together program.
The LIFT program teaches men and women over 40 safe strength building techniques, appreciation for regular and safe physical activity, and proper nutrition habits.
The benefits of the program include increased muscle mass, strength, balance and flexibility, and improved bone density to reduce your risk of osteoporosis.
The LIFT program can also increase self-confidence, sleep, and the ability to live independently.
You can contact your local PennState Extension Office or go to the PennState Extension website to find a program near you.
If you have any questions, you can ask the instructor or call the PennState Extension Office.
