Master Gardener Backyard Native Plants is presented by the Master Gardeners of Blair County and emphasizes how native plants, water features, and cover are important for our native pollinators and birds. Join us for Planting for Pollinators and learn how to make your yard a healthy habitat.

Planting for Pollinators: How to Plant & Maintain Wildflower Meadows
End the mowing madness! Learn how to turn part of your yard into a beautiful meadow that will nurture insects and birds. Native bees and Monarch butterflies will appreciate more native plants. Tips on identifying butterflies and common backyard insects will be highlighted with beautiful photographs. Each participant will take home some native plants for their yard.
Opportunities to get involved in habitat restoration projects will be shared.
