About The Live Webinar
For many landowners and wildlife enthusiasts, understanding herbicides and chemical weed control can be one of the most challenging aspects of managing food plots. During this session, we will break down the basics of herbicide use, including mode of action, the differences between contact and systemic herbicides, and selective versus non-selective applications. Participants will also gain insight into adjuvants and surfactants—what they are, how they work, and when to use them.
Proper wildlife management goes beyond planting food plots—it involves a broad understanding of forest ecology, invasive species control, and herd management. Antlers and Academics is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to support a healthy deer herd, with a special focus on late-summer and early-fall priorities for food plot managers.
