This program is designed for people who are facing diagnosis, as well as those who wish to be informed.

10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease
Recognize common warning signs and learn what to do if you notice changes in yourself or others.
Participants will learn about typical age-related changes, common signs of Alzheimer's, and how to approach someone about memory concerns. Other helpful Alzheimer's resources will also be provided.

Building Brain-Healthy Habits
Building Brain-Healthy Habits - Provides research-backed guidance on brain health and the importance of taking action to protect your brain at every age.
In this program, you will learn how to take positive steps to improve your quality of life now and protect your memory as you age. We will discuss healthy habits for your brain and learn how to potentially reduce your risk of cognitive decline and dementia by creating a personalized action plan for developing brain-healthy habits.

The Empowered Caregiver Series
The Empowered Caregiver is an education program by the Alzheimer's Association® that teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia. This program features five topics, including building foundations of caregiving, supporting independence, communicating effectively, responding to dementia-related behaviors, and exploring care and support services. As part of the program, the attendee will receive activities to apply person-centered care approaches to their own caregiving situation.
This program is presented in 5 different modules:
Building Foundations of Caregiving
This course explores the role of the caregiver and changes they may experience, building a support team, and managing caregiver stress.

Supporting Independence
This course focuses on helping the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, providing the right amount of support and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.

Communicating Effectively
This course teaches how dementia affects communication, including tips for communicating well with family, friends, and health care professionals.

Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors
This course details common behavior changes and how they are a form of communication, non-medical approaches to behaviors and recognizing when additional help is needed.
