About the In-Person Workshop

Explore the latest strategies and innovations in weed control at this annual hands-on field event held at the Penn State Agronomy Research Farm in Rock Springs, Pennsylvania. Participants will examine industry trials featuring new burndown and in-crop herbicide products for field and forage crops, evaluate herbicide programs in systems that incorporate cover crops, and assess the potential for see-and-spray technology in Pennsylvania no-till operations. The program also highlights new research on cultural weed management using short corn hybrids, ecological and climatic influences on weed dynamics, and resistant weed species in the region. A live demonstration of The Weed Zapper—an emerging tool that uses electrocution for weed suppression—will round out the day.

Space is limited. Preregistration is required.
