About The Live Webinar

Spring development plays a critical role in protecting water resources while supporting reliable agricultural water supplies. The fifth webinar in the Ag Water Series explores spring development as a water supply and resource-protection practice under Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program (ACAP), highlighting how it can improve water quality, reduce runoff, and strengthen agricultural viability. Participants will gain practical insight into NRCS Practice Standard 574, hydrologic principles, design components, site evaluation, construction considerations, documentation needs, and long-term maintenance, supported by field photos, diagrams, and real-world examples.
