About The In-Person Workshop
Penn State Extension’s "Advanced Beef Cattle Nutrition" course is designed for practicing nutritionists who work directly with beef producers to develop effective feeding programs. This in-depth program will focus on fed cattle for beef production and explore timely topics such as risk management in an uncertain economic climate and the use of fermented feedstuffs and associated diseases. Developed with insight from Pennsylvania industry partners, the course reflects current needs and welcomes suggestions for future topics.
